Warriors roll over West Branch

It was a battle of Warriors last Friday night at the West Branch Field House.

Carrollton trailed 4-0 early in the game, but took control in the middle of the first period and rolled to a 55-38 win to sweep the season series against their Northeastern Buckeye Conference rival.

The founder of Carrollton wrestling will be a top honoree at this year’s  State Wresting Tournament in Columbus.

James “Rusty” Bright, who started the wrestling program at Carrollton back in 1961 and took that program to prominence in a short period of time, Full Story

The Carrollton varsity wrestling was issued a 44-30 setback last Thursday night at Louisville in a Northeastern Buckeye Conference dual match.

The Leopards won eight matches and the Warriors six.
