Dover rolls over Warriors

Carrollton High School football Johnny LowdermilkIt was only the first game of the season for both teams, but the Dover Tornadoes looked to be in mid-season form as they rolled over the Carrollton Warriors 63-14 last Thursday night at Crater Stadium in Dover.

CHS boys soccer rattles Edison 11-0 in opener

Carrollton High School boys soccer Tyler TimberlakeThe Carrollton boys soccer team opened its 2010 season with a huge 11-0 win over visiting Edison Local last Tuesday.

The Warriors got three goals each from Dylan McLean and Conrad Burns, while Zane Pyles, Tyler Timberlake, Dustin Shreve, Russell Weaver and Sam Dowell each scored one goal.

The Warriors out shot the Wildcats 14-5 and Burns recorded one save. Full Story
