The East District Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association boys and girls coaches met recently and named their 2009 All-Star team.

Carrollton had two boys named to the first team, Conrad Burns, Zane Pyles, while Dylan McLean was named to the second team. Receiving honorable mention were Ben Knotts and Gage Spears.

Kyle Dummermuth was named Player of the Year and Mike Burr of River View Assistant Coach of the Year.

On the girls side, the Warriors Renee Davis received second team honors and Chelsea McIntire and Megan Perry honorable mention.

Selected as Player of the Year was Rachel Morrison of New Philadelphia.

Selected to play in the District East/West All-Star game, that was played last Sunday at the Dover Middle School, were Carrollton seniors Gage Spears and Chelsea McIntire. They were members of the East squad.
