The Bell-Herron Middle School girls track team defeated visiting Canton South 81-33 last Wednesday night.
Placing first for the Warriors were Alyssa Sammons in the 100 hurdles with a time of 18.28, Angela Bregenzer in the 400 with a time of 115.6, Janesa Bell in the 1,600 and 800 meter runs with times of 6:23 and 2:57, Monica Starre in the long jump with a jump of 13’8” and the 200 meter dash with a time of 30.35, Joy Lynn in the high jump with a jump of 3’10”, Abbey Wilson in the shot and discus with throws of 35’ 1” and 74’5.5”, the 800-meter relay team of Kady Davis, Harley Schandel, Starr and Sammons with a time of 2:05.4 and the 1,600-meter relay team of Rachel Devine, Bregenzer, Bell, and Sarah Donley with a time of 5:07.
Placing second were Hayley Barrick in the 100 hurdles, Maddie Birong in the 400, Clarissa Wagner in the discus, Sammons in the long jump and Maggie Mapes in the high jump.
Placing third were Caitlynn Moyer in the 100 and 200 hurdles, Barrick in the 100, Devine in the 1,600, Donley in the 800, Barrick in the 200, Alexis Kurtz in the shot and discus and Birong in the long jump.
The Lady Warriors were to be at Louisville Wednesday.
