Carrollton soccer seniors Gage Spears and Chelsea McIntire were the Warrior athletes selected to play in last Sunday’s All Star matches.

Two Carrollton High School seniors participated in the Eastern District Soccer Coaches Association All Star Game Nov. 8 at Dover Middle School.

Gage Spears and Chelsea McIntire, members of the CHS soccer teams, were members of the East boys and girls teams.

The girls team, coached by John Madden from Steubenville Catholic Central, posted a 5-2 win over the West team, coached by Todd Riley of Zanesville.

The East boys team, coached by Danny Lawrence, pulled out a 2-1 win over the West team, coached by Brian Dunlap of Coshocton.
Marta Fiala and Kayla Brown of Edison and Tasha Fields and Amanda Brothers of Minerva were also members of the East girls team.

James Mullins and Chris Haught of Edison and Craig Smith and Aaron Burman of Minerva were members of the East boys team.
