Five K run
A 5K run will be held July 11 in Dellroy with all proceeds going to the Carrollton Cross Country program. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. at the Dellroy Community building with the race getting under way at 8:30 a.m.
The race is open to the public and is also part of the Tuscarawas Valley Challenge Series (www.tvcrun.com).
Cost is $20 for those who pre-register before July 3 and $25 for race-day registration.
The race will start at the Al-B iWinery in Dellroy and travel through the Village out to the Atwood Marina East and back into town.
Refreshments will be given to all runners following the race and t-shirts will be given to all pre-registered runners. The top three runners in each age group will receive medals.
The age groups are: 14 and under, 15-19, 29-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70-plus.
Door prized will be given away after the race.
All sponsors donating $50 or more will be listed on the back of the t-shirts.
All proceeds from the race will be donated the Carrollton High School Cross Country team.
