Jr. High boys rolls over Alliance

FPS staff report

The Bell-Herron Middle School boys track team recorded 10 first place finishes in defeating visiting Alliance 70.5-43.5 last Wednesday night at Community Field.

Placing first for the Warriors were Joey Miller in the 800 and 1,600 meter runs, Dakota Maple in the shot put and discus, Caleb Moyer in 400-meter dash and the long jump, Lynk Tranter in the 200-meter hurdles, Austin Miller in the high jump, the 800-meter relay team of Zach Wilson, Daniel Sura-Villalta, Noah Stertzbach and Aaron Wey and the 1,600-meter relay team of Wilson, Caleb Hartong, Justin Lovett and Austin Miller.

Placing second were Stertzbach in the 100-meter dash, Austin Miller in the 200 hurdles, Moyer in the 200 and Jordan Houyouse in the discus.

Placing third were Tranter in the 110 hurdles, Travis Stephens in the 1,600, Hartong in the 400, Andy Whitmer in the 200 hurdles, Stephens in the 800, Sura-Villalta in the 200, Whitmer in the high jump and Austin Bentley in the shot.
