The Carrollton girls track team placed third at the Dover Mini-Relays last Monday night at Dover.
The shot put team of April Sisk, Chelsea Williams and Michelle Tangler finished with a total distance of 95’1”, while the discus team of Sisk, Williams and Cheyenne Morsheiser won with a distance of 304’5”.
Placing second was the 3,200-meter relay team of Kelsey Cogan, Tayler Shaw, Mary Jo Brown and Addie Davis with a time of 23:32, and the 800-meter relay team of Jessica Rogers, Miranda Brown, Lindsay Schandel and Stephanie Donley with a time of 1:57.1.
Placing third was the distance medley team of Stephanie Kelly, Kailey Kennedy, Kailey Patterson and Miranda Graham with a time of 16:02.
Placing fourth was the 1,600-meter relay team of Cogan, Shaw, Rogers and Taylor Lowdermilk with a time of 4:31.
Last Tuesday the Lady Warriors were at Canton South. The Wildcats defeated the Warriors by six points, 67-61.
Recording a first for the Warriors was the 3,200-meter relay team of Cogan, Brown, Lowdermilk and Shaw (No time reported).
Cogan placed first in the 1,600 and 3,200 with a times of 6:24.5 and 14:16, Lowdermilk in the 400 with a time of 1:06, Brown in the 800 with a time of 2:24.9, the 1,600-meter relay team of Rogers, Cogan, Shaw and Lowdermilk, Lowdermilk in the high jump with a jump of 4’6” and Sisk in the discus with a throw of 120-feet.
Last Saturday the Warriors were at the West Holmes Invitational, where they had two first place finishes.
As a team, the Warriors finished fourth overall with 65 points.
The 400-meter relay team of Host, Miranda Brown, Schandel and Donley won with a time of 56.6 and Sisk won the shot put with a throw of 38’2”.
Placing second was the 800-meter relay team of Rogers, Brown, Schandel and Donley with a tine of 1:55.56, and Cogan in the 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs with times of 5:38 and 12:38.14.
Placing third for the Warriors was Sisk in the discus with a throw of 118’ 6”. |
