Carrollton High School boys soccer Tyler Timberlake
Carrollton’s Tyler Timberlake passes to a teammate against visiting Edison as the Warriors picked up a giant 11-0 win.

The Carrollton boys soccer team opened its 2010 season with a huge 11-0 win over visiting Edison Local last Tuesday.

The Warriors got three goals each from Dylan McLean and Conrad Burns, while Zane Pyles, Tyler Timberlake, Dustin Shreve, Russell Weaver and Sam Dowell each scored one goal.

The Warriors out shot the Wildcats 14-5 and Burns recorded one save.

Last Saturday, McLean scored all three of the Warriors’ goals in the Warriors 3-1 win over host Canton McKinley.

The victory improved the Warriors to 2-0 for the year.

The Warriors outshot the Bulldogs 19-5 and in corner kicks 6-2.

Burns recorded five saves for the Warriors.

James Lioi had the Bulldogs’ goal in the match.
