The Carrollton boys and girls cross country teams ended their 2009 season last Monday night with their annual banquet held at the Carrollton First Presbyterian Church.

Head coach Lisa Baker and assistant coach Dan Shroyer handed out special awards, varsity letters and certificates of participation to members of the teams.

Senior Kyle Baker and sophomore Kelsey Cogan were named the teams Most Valuable Runners.

The Coaches Awards went to sophomore Kailey Patterson and freshman Travis Stephens.

The 100% Awards went to sophomore Joey Harter and senior Katelyn Jacobson.

Earning the Sportsmanship Awards were senior Brandon Walker and junior Mary Jo Brown.

The Most Improved awards were handed to sophomore Adam Wenner and sophomore Katerina Campbell.

Receiving their fourth year letters were Lindsey Evans, Baker and Katelyn Jacobson.

Earning their third year letters were senior Jasmine Bell and Brown.

Receiving second year letters were senior Brandon Walker, juniors Ethan Harris and Jacob Husted and sophomores Kelsey Cogan and Kailey Patterson.

Receiving Certificates of Participation were sophomores Joyce Bell, Brooke Rees and Adam Wenner and freshmen Trevor Howell and Zac Wilson.

Receiving All-Northeastern Buckeye Conference honors were Cogan, first team; Jacobson and Baker, second team, and Evans, Husted, Brown and Harter, honorable mention.

Earning All-Eastern District Academic awards were Baker, Cogan, Evans, Campbell and Jacobson.

Named to the Eastern District All-Star team were Jasmine Bell, Brown, Cogan, Evans and Jacobson.
