CHS gridders named to All-NBC

FPS staff report

The Louisville Leopards won their fourth straight Northeastern Buckeye Conference championship this season and for their efforts they were awarded with six players on the All-Northeastern Buckeye Conference first team that was announced last week by the league.

Carrollton, who finished with a 3-4 league record, had two players named to the first team, junior quarterback Johnny Lowdermilk and senior co-captain and offensive lineman Dakota Hall.

The Warriors had three players named to the second team, senior co-captain A. J. Dalton, and junior wide receivers Robbie Smith and Tyler Sheets. Earning honorable mention were junior running back Codi Casper, senior linebacker Josh Miller and senior lineman Garth Brown.

Louisville, which won the league with a perfect 7-0 record, had six seniors named to the first team, Hunter Potts, who was also named the NBC Player of the Year, Joe Poyser, Jake Adkins, Bobby Gothot, Joe Stoffer, and Joe Neff.

Minerva finished fourth with a 4-3 mark had three players placed on the first team, senior Brian Harp, junior Drew Prendergast and senior Damien Elifritz.

Two sophomores were named to the first team, Alden Hill and Zach Higgins, both from Marlington.

Louisville head coach Paul Farrah was chosen as Coach of the Year.
