A new tattoo business is open in Carrollton.
Tatt-A-Holik opened in April at 1530 Canton Rd. (adjacent to Visible Changes). Owners James and Jennell Shannon said the business offers over 44,000 different tattoo designs (which can be viewed on the walls of the business) along with body piercings, or they can create an original tattoo design.
The pair hired Ernie Little Crow as the lead artist. He has 32 years of experience and is known as a master tattooist. He is a four-time award winner, including Best of Show and Best Black and Gray at Seattle in 1983; Best Color Tattoo (male) at the Feel the Steel show in Rochester, NY, Best Female Tattoo at the Corning, NY, show in 1991 and Best Overall Tattoo in the Skin and Steel Show at Painted Post, NY, in 1993. He also has 17 years experience in body piercings.
Hours are 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome and accepted when time permits. To make an appointment, call 330-341-9872.
Shannon said the facility is licensed by the Carroll County Health Department and is insured.
