"Annabel is a tremendous teen leader of our 4-H program in CarrollCounty. She is the type of person that will help anyone," said Ryan Pape, who nominated Vernier.

"Annabel has received many different awards in 4-H, she was recognized with an achievement award in leadership in 4-H.

"This award is only handed out to one member in the entire county. She is also a member of Teen Leaders, Camp Counselor, Cooper Head Council representative for Carroll County 4-H.

"Being a member of the Jr. Fairboard along with many additional responsibilities keeps this young lady busy, but Annabel still takes the time to assist others.

"She is a teen with outstanding leadership skills and a deserving candidate."
