Sept. 20 - Yard Sale at St. Martin Lutheran Church, 301 W. Main St., Malvern from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lots of stuff. Name your own price.

Sept. 20 - Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church will host its 27th annual Mission Festival in the fellowship hall. Homemade sandwiches and pie will be available at a food stand beginning at 5 p.m.  An auction will begin at 6 p.m. with inflated bidding to support a variety of mission projects.  The public is invited.  The church is located at 89 Canyon Rd. SW, Carrollton.

VETERANS
Oct. 4 - Steak Fry at Carrollton VFW Post 3301 on Chase Rd. 5-8 p.m. Meal is steak or half chicken dinner. Open to the public. For details, call 330-627-7501.
