Feb. 2 - Carroll Co. Animal Protection League meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Carrollton Friendship Center.

Feb. 9 & 10 - Carroll County Animal Protection League fundraiser and membership drive at Consumer’s National Bank.  Cookbooks, signs, info, etc. Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Feb. 11 - “All You Can Eat” Valentine Breakfast 8-11 a.m. at Loudon Twp. Community Center. Adults $5 or $9/couple; $3/ages 4-11. All sweethearts receive a rose. For info, call Donna at 330-739-4193 or Judy at 330-739-4405.

Feb. 11 - Spaghetti Dinner at Malvern UMC Educational Bldg. 4:30-7 p.m. $7.50 for adults, $4 for children ages 5-12.  Sponsored by Rotary Club of Malvern, benefits Malvern Branch Library.

Feb. 12 - Baked steak & chicken dinner at Jewett VFD 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Adults $8, children $4.

Feb. 13 - Carroll County Board of Elections meeting at 9 a.m. in the Board of Elections office.

Feb. 13 - Carroll County Family & Children First Council Advisory Council meeting at 10 a.m. at Carrollton Friendship Center.

Feb. 13-17 - Connect Your Community free computer classes at Carroll County District Library in Carrollton. Registration required at 330-627-2613.

Feb. 20 - Boy Scout Troop #141 annual Ham Dinner 4:30-7 p.m. at the Carrollton High School cafeteria.  Advance tickets are $7/adults, $4/children ages 3-10.  $8 at door. Carryout available. 

Feb. 20 - “Meet the Candidates” Night at Fox Twp. Fire Hall, Mechanicstown on SR 39 at 7 p.m. Candidates on ballot for March 6 primary. Refreshments by Great Divide Ruritan Club.

Feb. 27 - Carroll County Animal Protection League (CCAPL) night at  Carrollton Ponderosa 4 - 8 p.m. Ponderosa will donate for each meal purchased to help build a shelter for abused and lost animals in Carroll County. Volunteers will be  on hand.
