Carroll Special Olympians to compete in Ohio Summer Games

Carroll County Special OlympicsThe Carroll County Special Olympics program has chosen 10 athletes to represent Carroll County at the 43rd annual Special Olympics Ohio Summer Games in Columbus June 22-24 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

They are D. J. Anno, Erick Prowe, Gene Fankhauser, Matt Crough, Aaron Scott, John Evans, Enrique Gonzales, Jenny Moore, Lexi Swearingen and Frank Dickey.

Over 2,700 athletes from across Ohio will compete in 11 different sporting events.

They will also see movies, attend recreational clinics and take part in the Opening Ceremonies held at Jesse Owens Stadium.
