The Bell-Herron Junior High girls track team defeated Claymont and Harrison Central in a triangular last Monday night at Claymont.
The Warriors finished with 71 points, Claymont had 52 and Harrison Central 30.
Finishing in first place for the Warriors were Maddie Dunlap in the 800 and 1,600-meter runs with time of 2:28 and 5:44; Mackenzie Shroyer in the long jump with a jump of 11’11”; Halley Wells in the high jump with a jump of 4’2”; Brenna Campbell in the shot put with a throw of 33’9.5” and the 1,600-meter relay team of Kierra Gubesch, Shelbee Stidom, Mikala Shafer and Dunlap with a time of 4:51.9.
Placing second were Wells in the 1,600; Stidom in the 200 hurdles; Kendal McFarland in the long jump; Rachel Bright in the high jump; Maggie Beza in the discus, and the 400-meter relay team of Rachel Dowell, Keara Coleman, Mikayla Brannick and Shafer.
Placing third were Amanda Barstow in the discus; Wells in the 800; Dowell in the 200 hurdles and Stidom in the 100 hurdles.
Placing fourth were Kody Schandel in the 100-meter dash; Emmy Days in the 1,600; Taylor Fair in the 200 and 400-meter dashes; Bree Keyser in the high jump; Kaitlin Shine in the discus and Barstow in the shot put.
The Warriors were to host Marlington Monday and travel to West Branch on Wednesday.
Next week, Carrollton seventh graders will be at the Claymont Seventh Grade Invitational on Monday and host Alliance on Wednesday.
The Dan Wells Invitational will be held May 6 at Community Field.
