The Carrollton boys bowling team rolled their best match of the season so far as four bowlers rolled 400-plus games in a 2,895-2,799 win over host Timken at Eastbury Lanes last Monday night.
Byron Carper rolled games of 236 and 222 for a 458 to lead the Warriors, while Lance Nape rolled games of 224 and 228 for a 452. Hunter Lumley had games of 214 and 203 for a 417, Ben Power bowled games of 211 and 192 for a 403 and Austin Wolford had games of 178 and 203 for a 381.
Chance Mattern rolled a 490 for Timken.
Last Tuesday at Carroll Lanes, Lumley rolled games of 237 and 218 to lead the Warriors to a 2,791-2,342 win over Alliance.
Lumley led the way with a 455 series, while Nape rolled games of 244 and 200 for a 444. Carper bowled games of 198 and 202 for a 400, Power had games of 206 and 185 for a 391 and Wolford had games of 208 and 173 for a 381.
Carrollton won the Baker, 720-701.
Ronnie Brimlow rolled a 393 to lead Alliance.
In junior varsity action, the Warriors defeated Timken 2,485-1,696.
Kennie Hutson had a 397 to lead the Warriors, while Trent Rector had a 374, Aaron Brammer a 351, Dalton Ulman a 293 and James Wolford a 252.
The Warriors won the Baker 829-445.
Against Alliance, the Warriors won by the score of 1,901-1,478.
Hutson led the way with a 342, Wolford a 340, Brammer a 333, Ulman a 332 and Rector a 295.
The Baker went to Carrollton 259-227.
The Warriors were to host Lake Tuesday night. They will be at the Hall of Fame Lanes to take on Canton South on Thursday. They will host North Canton Hoover next Tuesday.
