Carrollton High School girls golf banquet
Receiving Special Awards at this year’s Carrollton High School girls golf banquet are Lael Shields (left) and Allyson Giannone.

The Carrollton High School girls golf team recently held its season ending banquet at the Carroll Meadows Golf Course.

Allyson Giannone and Lael Shields each received two awards.

Giannone received the Most Birdies Award with two and tied with Shields for the Most Pars with 13. Shields received the award for Low Average with a 51.

Receiving their third year varsity letters were Briana Yost, Sara Truman and Shields. Earning their second varsity letters were Liz Bormuth and Giannone.

Receiving Certificates of Participation were Alyssa Jones, Sydney Fennimore and Vanessa Penick.

The team was coached this season by Todd English.
