It was another tough outing for the Carrollton girls track team as the Lady Warriors fell to visiting Canton South 83-45 on senior night at Community Field.

The Lady Warriors were to wrap up their dual meet season Tuesday at Louisville. Friday they will take part in the Northeastern Buckeye Conference championships at Marlington High School.

The Warriors won six events against the Wildcats. The 3,200-meter relay team of Maddie Birong, Taylor Bennett, Liza Kirk and Stephanie Kelly placed first with a time of 11:36. Also placing first were Bennett in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:14, Stephanie Donley in the 800 with a time of 2:33, Naomi Young in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 13:46, the 1,600-meter relay team of Kirk, Bennett, Brittany Swinehart and Maygen Bales with a time of 4:51 and Kirk in the 300 hurdles with a time of 52.4.

Placing second were Young in the 400 with a time of 63.,8, Kady Davis in the 800 with a time of 2:35 and Schandel in the 3,200 with  a time of 13:52.

Placing third were Jordan Schlabach in the 100 hurdles with a time of 17.9, Stephanie Donley in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.4, Sarah Donley in the high jump with a jump of 4’2”, Hayley Barrick in the 200 with a time of 29.2, Mackenzie DeGarmo in the discus with a throw of 82’10”, Harley Schandel in the 300 hurdles with a time of 57.9, Davis in the 3,200 with a time of 13:57 and Lindsay Schandel in the 800 with a
