The high school volleyball season is upon us.

Carrollton returns four letter winners from that team.
Back on the court are seniors Addie Davis at outside hitter and Becca Grunder at middle hitter, and juniors Addie Borland at outside hitter and Kelsey Voll at setter.
There are many players looking to fill varsity spots.
Promising newcomers are juniors Mackenzie DeGarmo at outside hitter, Savana Lowery at middle hitter, and Mackenzie Ray, defender, and sophomores Kady Davis at setter and defender, Ali Poole at outside hitter and Roz Pridemore at middle hitter.
“We have many young players competing for positions, which will make our year exciting,” said fourth year head coach Amanda Tressa. “We are looking for these players to gain experience and build on last season’s success.”
The Lady Warriors were to open their season Tuesday at Northwest. They will host a quadrangular Saturday morning.
Next week, they will open their NBC season Tuesday night by hosting Marlington. They will travel to West Branch next Thursday.
