Getting ready for graduation!

FPS staff report

In our SchoolsBusy - busy  busy. The Carroll County Christian Academy's kindergarten class is preparing for graduation to be held this Thursday, May 22, at 6 p.m. in the school's auditorium.

Four class representatives are shown in the above photo during a recent dress rehearsal. From left are Kylee McClintock, pointing to a clock on which the students have learned to tell time; Taylor Weaver, adjusting the cap of Mason Stackhouse and Gabriel Warner attired in his white cap and gown at far right.

According to the teacher, the kindergarteners have been busy reviewing blends, special sounds and fine tuning their reading skills to present what they have learned throughout the year on graduation night. Along with phonics, they will be sharing Bible verses, Bible stories, telling the time to the hour, one-half and one-quarter, reciting math facts they have learned and counting money. The public is invited to attend the kindergarten graduation.
