Carrollton seniors receive $2,000 scholarships

Buckeye Career Center Foundation, Inc. schlorship winners.Two Carrollton High School seniors who are attending Buckeye Career Center were among 20 Buckeye students honored as recipients of $2,000 scholarships each awarded by the Buckeye Career Center Foundation, Inc. at its annual recognition banquet held May 7 at the Union Country Club in Dover.

Bell-Herron Foundation president challenges academic achievers

Goals designed to define purpose were given by Atty. Sean Smith, president of the Bell-Herron Scholarship Foundation at the Foundation's annual awards ceremony held the evening of May 7 in the high school gymnasium.

Smith, who noted the Foundation's founding was in 1963, told the students and parents attending the event the students are part of Generation Next or "Gen Nexters" Full Story

Forty-two scholarships totaling $53,750 were announced and awarded at the annual Bell-Herron Scholarship Foundation’s awards program held May 7 in the Carrollton High School gymnasium.
