Students, parents and community members are invited to attend an open house at all schools within the Carrollton Exempted Village School District Monday, Aug. 22, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. to visit classrooms and meet teachers.
School officials in all the elementary buildings, Bell-Herron Middle School and Carrollton High School will be closed until the open house activities begin that day.
Carrollton Schools Supt. Palmer Fogler has extended an invitation to share the summer efforts of the work crews, technology department, principals and central office and to learn your child’s class assignment by attending the traditional August open house.
The 1:30-3 p.m. event will be held at Augusta, Carrollton and Dellroy elementary schools, Bell-Herron Middle School and Carrollton High School. The complete list of classroom assignments will be posted on the door of each school building at the Open House.
Starting times for Carrollton Exempted Village Schools are as follows:
Carrollton High School, 7:20-2:17
Bell-Herron Middle School, grades 6, 7 and 8, 7:20-2:17
Carrollton elementary grades K-5, 8:45-3:15
Augusta, 8:45-3:15
Dellroy, 8:45-3:15.
Those children who walk to school or are taken by their parents should not arrive at the school building more than ten minutes before the starting time, Supt. Fogler said. |
