Ariel Lee and Laszlo Marsi have been named Students of the Month for September at Bell-Herron Middle School where both are 8th grade students.

Daughter of Melvin and Tanya Lee of 3049 Salineville Rd., Carrollton, Ariel is a classroom aide and enjoys watching and playing basketball.

She attends Harsh Bible Church where she is involved in the youth group and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

School officials said Ariel is very responsible and always does more than is required.

Marsi, son of Andrea and Zoltan Marsi of 5623 Hickory Woods Dr., Dellroy, is a member of the band and serves as band manager. He is an active attender of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Carrollton where he participates in the CCD program.

Awards Laszlo has earned include a 6th grade Science Fair award in 2008 and he was also voted the most improved on the Carrollton Water Warriors Swim team in 7th grade.

The Student of the Month program at Bell-Herron Middle School is coordinated by Kris Mallarnee and Shawn Neely who compile and distribute a list of students who have been nominated for the honor by the Bell-Herron faculty.

The Student Council presents each Student of the Month with a Carrollton Warrior jacket.
