The Speech and Drama Department at Carrollton High School will stage “You Can’t Take it With You,” a classic comedy play written by Moss Hart and George Kaufman, this weekend.
Tickets for the production, to be presented at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21 and 22 and at 1 p.m. Nov. 23 in the Bell-Herron auditorium, are $8 and may be obtained in the Bell-Herron auditorium this Thursday and Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Cast members include Zach Bake as Grandpa, Krista Bryson as Penny, Tyler Cairns as Paul, Sara Sevek as Essie, Ryan Tinlin as Ed, Holly Richards as Alice, Anthony Imes as Tony, Carson Miller as Rheba, Anthony Molesky as Donald, Russell Weaver as Mr. DePinna, Chandler Meek as Boris, Thomas Imes as Mr. Kirby, Krysten Abel as Mrs. Kirby, Megan Jeffrey as Olga, Ethan Harris as Henderson, Mackenzie Bake as Gay W., Abbey Leasure as the Man, Jen Silver as Mac and also student director.
The stage manager is Becca Herron. Amber Furbee and Nick Torian are in charge of lights while Wes Jones and Megan Perry are handling the sound. The stage crew includes Steven Imes and Emily Sanders. The production is under the direction of Alzana Nuzzolillo.
According to the director, snakes, a xylophone, illegal fire work production and a Russian ballet instructor who was followed out of Russia, are normal pieces of the Sycamore family puzzle in the production.
Assuming lead roles in Carrollton High School’s production of “You Can’t Take It with You” this weekend at the Bell-Herron Middle School auditorium are these six individuals shown in the above photo.
