 The 2010-11 edition of the Carrollton High School Showstoppers made their debut at a teachers in-service meeting held Aug. 24 in the CHS gym.
The group, whose advisor is Cheri Miller, is shown in the above photo. In front (from left) are Brynne Cross and Jon Smith, Laiton Carter, Kayla Wood and Karah Power (center), Austin Wolford (behind Wood), Patrick Wey and Mackenzie Armstrong.
Standing behind them (from left) are Grant Bake holding Maeve Nair, Gabriel Miller holding Mackenzie Bake, Shane Wallick, Thomas Imes, Caitlin Mathews (behind Imes), Jon Thompson, Chandler Meek holding Lexi Kilgore and Luke Clay holding Abby Glasure.

Upcoming scheduled performances by the Showstoppers include Sept. 5 at Snode’s Melon Festival, Oct. 9 at Algonquin Mill Fall Festival, Oct. 16, Holiday Inn in Canton, Oct. 19 at Golden Age Retreat, Oct. 24 and Nov. 7, Friendship Center, Nov. 20 at Unionport Community building, Dec. 10 at Dellroy Community building and Dec. 18, Cabaret show at Bell-Herron Middle School.
