Carroll County Christian Academy students win state competition for seventh time

Carroll County Christian Academy junior and senior high students recently won the Christian Schools of Ohio State Academic and Fine Arts Competition.

Students competed in a variety of categories including spelling, political science, general Bible knowledge, Bible memory, vocal and instrumental music, speech, poetry, creative writing, home economics, art, photography, desktop publishing, Bible teaching and preaching.

It was the seventh time the Christian Academy has won the top award.
Following are the names of students who won first place in the competition:

Bible Teaching
Jr. High: Sue Stout.
Sr. High: Bonnie Higgins.
Vocal Trio
Sr. High: Eden Dewitz, Stout and Carson.
Needlecraft
Sr. High: Phillips.
Bible memory
Jr. High: Faith Locke.
Sr. High: Benjamin Stover.
Machine Sewing
Sr. High: Brittanie Phillips.
Specific Book Bible Knowledge Team: Sr. High team.
Vocal Ensemble: Men’s Ensemble
Home Economics: Rebecca Stover.
 Algebra/Geometry: Jason Powell.
