To the Editor:
Recently, the students of Carrollton High School (CHS) experienced a mock crash in which some of their fellow classmates portrayed victims in a drunk driving accident. The mock crash was created in order to show high school students what would occur to everyday teenagers after they drink and drive. The crash was sponsored by SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) Club, in accordance with Prom Promise Week, along with support from an amazing group of individuals, namely: Margaret Mesler, Deluxe Auto Body and Wrecking, EMT Paramedic Service, Carrollton Village Fire Dept., Sheriff’s Dept., State Highway Patrol and Carrollton Police. On behalf of the members of SADD and the students at CHS, we would like to thank the volunteers who took time out of their busy schedule to show students the negative effects of drinking and driving. Thank you for aiding the SADD Club with such an important issue.

Jessica Burks
President
Carrollton High School SADD Club
