To the Editor:
We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all the coaches involved with the YMCA tackle program. Our teams had a very impressive season. The support and encouragement, sportsmanship and positive leadership that was displayed was amazing. All three of the teams did great and there is not one coach who was involved with any of the teams that I did not feel did an absolutely fantastic job with encouraging the kids and making the whole experience memorable.

Our son has not always had a positive experience and we want to make sure these coaches know they are very much appreciated. For our son’s coaches, Coach Baker, Coach Carman, Coach Birong, Coach Lewis and Coach Poole, a special thank you for making him feel he was an important member of the team. Also, to Coach Carrothers for always giving him extra encouragement just because you knew he needed it.

Thank you for a great year. To all the YMCA teams this year, great job and you should all be proud!
