To the Editor:
For 75 years, the Democrats said Social Security is an insurance program that should never be touched.  They cut it this past year and called it a payroll tax. The amount was in the billions. This is defunding Social Security pure and simple. The program can’t afford it. Who will be hurt? The seniors, when the program goes broke.

Now they want to extend the payroll tax cut and make it a political issue for President Obama’s re-election. If you make $50,000 per year, you receive $1,000 or $20 bucks a week. Remember, he is buying your vote with your own Social Security money. The money won’t be there when you retire.
