To the Editor:
I read in the Times Reporter last week county commissioners approved spending over $4,000 for a set of topographical maps to be able to construct the garage on Route 9 across from the County Home. I believe they are talking about the garage to store the buses from the County Transportation Group. Wow! Did the price of topographical maps go up in the last 10 years. When I worked as the EMA Director back at the turn of the century, I got two complete sets from ODNR for nothing, one for the office and one for the fire department.
