Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
VFW Post 3301 Ladies Auxiliary would like to thank the many individuals and groups who donated items and money in support of our collection for our American troops, veterans and their families. Your outpouring of love and support has enabled us to send boxes filled to capacity.

We would like to send special thank you’s to Rick Hannon and Fusion Ceramics for paying postage on all the boxes, Days Inn, Crossroads Pizza (Carrollton)  and VFW Post 3301 for graciously collecting the items, Walt and Betty Shaver for the inspiration and the hand-carved eagle and the many men and women of VFW Post 3301 who  helped in many ways to complete our mission.

Special congratulations to Jerry Haynam on winning the hand-carved eagle. The love and support of Carroll countians has proved to us how proud we are of our soldiers.
