To the Editor:
LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE was the theme of the 2nd Annual Run for Rosie.  Our Relay for Life Team had 260 register, 236 crossed the finish line of the 5k and collectively raised over $12,000 in sponsors, fees, donations, etc.  We had 53 participants from the Carrollton Run for God, a group sponsored by Greenbrier Church, that started 12 weeks before the run to prepare through a walk/running program and Bible study lead by Amy Risaliti.  We were blessed by Zeta sisters of Roselyn's from ONU, a grandmother that pushed her six week year old grandson-making 4 generations compete in the race, a lot of Roselyn's family, friends, community members and simply just people that like to walk, run and compete.  This years event was timed by RS Racing Systems, they have since invited RUN FOR ROSIE to participate in the 2013 Subway Ohio Racing Challenge Series.  Again this year our run painted a sea of purple up and down Route 9 to a smiling and rewarding finish line for all!

We would like to thank our sponsors:  Rex Energy, The Wake Family, CPT Ashley M.
