To the Editor:
Parents, grandparents, family's lies. When will it end? Why do children pay the price for the adult's problems?
Low income and middle class citizens suffer because they don't have much money for lawyers to obtain their legal rights. Years go by and the children do not understand. They ask why daddy, mommy, grandma or grandpa doesn't come to see them. Is the child told the truth or do the lies build up? Who pays the price if the problems aren't settled? The child and the person who can't see the child.
Children are the future. How they are raised as a small child will affect the child's outlook as an adult. That child could turn on you for not telling the truth in the first place. Is losing that child's love worth losing because of lies told while growing up?
For those who can't see their child/grandchild, you need to speak out and fight for your rights. No matter what, don't give up. It's never too late to share your life with a child or grandchild.
