Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
I was at the council meeting last Monday for Bill Grimes. I know Bill is an honest man. When council was asked to explain why he was fired, they would not explain. There were over 40 of us there on Bill’s behalf.

I believe the mayor and his partners are hiding the truth. It was quite obvious when no one spoke up about this situation that something was not right. When a man stands before you and is asked for an explanation and all he is given is a blank stare, what does that tell you?

I know if they were any kind of Christian person, they would feel bad and want to do the right thing. Someday they will be judged. Each and every one of the council members had a chance to speak and no one spoke up. How does it feel to be part of the world that can not even stand up for what is right and speak what you know to be true?
