To the Editor:
As a veteran of the United States Marines and a proud citizen of the United States of America, I would like to personally thank the Family Worship Center of Carrollton and their music department for the Veterans Day tribute held Nov. 15.

From start to finish, every song, slideshow and comment honored, not only the veterans, but also the country and the fate we served. It was a great opportunity, as a vet, to experience the gratefulness of the people as they applauded the words during the songs, to see presented in multi-media, the sacrifice that the American veteran and their families have given be acknowledged and to realize that, yes, patriotism is still alive and well in the American people. As each veteran or family member of a veteran stood when pictures were shown, it was a living tribute to every veteran who served.

This program made me feel proud to have served as part of the United States Military and grateful to those who took the time and effort to put together this very moving and educational program.
