To the Editor:
The Carroll County Veteran’s Club Memorial Fund, Inc. is pleased to announce that the winner of the Ford Escape is Jennifer Lindeman, of Malvern. The vehicle was donated by Guess Ford/ Guess Motors, with 100% of proceeds going towards the renovations of the complex formerly known as the Vet’s Pool. Additionally, we would very much like to share our gratitude and sincere thanks to the following businesses and individuals, for all of you support during our September 11th Event and other recent fund raising projects. The Carroll County Fair Board, Jeff Grunder, Ballard Jenkins, Lynn Anderson, the band Cheap Date, Dave Householder for stage, set-up and entertainment.  To all of the amazing workers in the Daytime and Evening Kitchens, to everyone who made both Hog Roasts possible, especially to Dave Miller.  Thank you to all of the generous ladies who made the amazing desserts for the Pie Auction and to those who held the auctions. We would like to thank the Carroll County Veteran’s Club, for the use of all of the property and buildings, and to the Village of Carrollton for the use of the Park. Additional donors and supporters that we appreciate are Martha Gotschall, Perry and Lorraine Fenton, Earl Carlton, Ron Carlton, Patrick and Dorothy Horrigan, Tom Mesler, Abby Hinton, Lee Rummell, Chuck Keyser, Monte Shaver, Sandy Valley Eagles, and Wind & Fire Motorcycle Club.  The support of the community is very much appreciated.  Finally we offer a very special thank you to all of the volunteers/ members on the 9/11 Committee, who made all of this possible.  If we forgot to name any donors, volunteers, or supporters, we apologize and want everyone to know how grateful we are that our first major fund raising event was so successful.
