To the Editor:
During my travels around Ohio and West Virginia representing Mine Workers from McElroy Local 1638 who live on both sides of the Ohio River, I get to meet many outstanding people. One such person, Charlie Daniels, comes to mind.

Charlie was well-dressed with a jacket and tie every time we talked. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. He is an 18-year Ohio Public Service Employee of OCSEA Local 11, AFSCME, National Rifle Association, American Legion Post 159 of St. Clairsville, Equal Employment Opportunity Committee and Ohio Farm Bureau.

Now Mr. Charlie Daniels wants to run for State Representative from the 95th District, which consists of Carroll, Harrison, Noble and parts of Belmont and Washington counties. He will fight to keep our tax dollars in Ohio and supporting jobs in Ohio. He will put people before politics while standing up for the working class. He will ease our tax burden with a common sense budget and with transparent spending.

It is time to stand united and hold the extreme politicians accountable and vote for Mr. Charlie Daniels for State Representative in the 95th District of Ohio
