To the Editor:
I am a proud teacher at Malvern elementary school. There is such a great sense of community and a feeling of pride in Malvern. Whenever there is a school-wide elementary activity or event, the students, parents, staff and community participate.

The Malvern community has always supported school education, sports and area events (like Homecomings and Dancing on the Bridge) and the school system and town need that continued support.

Although I cannot support the school system with my yes vote on the 4.5-mill tax levy renewal at the May 5 special election (due to living outside of Carroll County), I will, however, always support the education system, school events/sports and town activities by participating and assisting.

Malvern has great kids, residents and teachers and we need to keep that hometown school and community pride.
