To the Editor:
I’m happy to report there are still good people in this world, especially in Carroll County.
I was on my way home from Carrollton on Feb. 11 and had a flat tire on Petersburg Hill. I was able to safely pull off the road across from the Mill. Unfortunately I had no signal on my cell phone to call AAA. Three gentlemen working at the AEP site located nearby came over and asked if I was having car trouble. I explained the situation and they immediately offered to change my tire. When they finished, I offered to pay them and they all said, “Glad we could help you.”
So often we hear about the bad things in life. I didn’t get their names, but I’m grateful for their random act of kindness.
