To the Editor:
I can’t believe what people will do in Carrollton.
I am talking about the mother, or so-called mother, turning in her six-year-old daughter to Drug Mart for a $30 reward.
I have never heard of a six-year-old stealing. Period. What is there for a child that age to want except a piece of candy, maybe.
Drug Mart should look at the store video camera and see if the mother doesn’t have more into this than it looks - something to make $30.
I guess she doesn’t realize court costs are $50 and some businesses fight for fines of $250 or more so the shoplifter learns a lesson.
Is that worth $30?
