To the Editor:
Mr. Bill Grimes is unknown to me personally, but I find it extremely troubling that any 27-year employee would be treated in the manner presented to the public thus far.

The problem would appear to be a personality conflict between Mr. Grimes and our mayor and/or village administrator. If it’s anything more than that, why can’t the facts be presented in a public hearing as Mr. Grimes requested? Apparently he feels he has nothing to hide. Why all the secrecy on the other side? What are they hiding?

Honesty, transparency and regard for the middle class have disappeared in Washington D.C but we should still expect those things from our local government.

Mary Ann Marshall
Carrollton, OH
