Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
Here’s the deal:  It’s very, very hard to fight a liar.  It’s very, very hard to go against a liar.

One does not need to be a cow to know what milk is and one does not need to be a liar to know what a liar is. Liars lie.  Liars deceive.  Liars evade.  Liars engage. Liars sway and liars will manipulate truth, facts and issues. Liars promise everything: Hope, happiness, change, equality and fairness. Liars come in all forms, all walks of life, all professions.  Liars come in levels of degrees ie; little tiny lies to big lies to massive lies.

And liars can suck you in -big time. Sort of like that Big Bad Wolf who spent a lot of time and energy huffing and puffing and huffing and puffing to blow those little piggies’ house down.

Sad to say folks, we have some cartoon character wolves in our government who are bound and determined to blow our houses down along with our freedom and it does not matter whether you are Democrat or Republican or Independent or non-committed.

You are lucky to live in a country where you can write a letter to your local newspaper and not have your butt hauled away afterwards.

It is so beyond me that any of us in any party would think it was ok to accept a health program that your leaders do not have to accept for themselves or their families and if you do not believe me, read the latest cartoon language that was just passed by the House.

It is so beyond me that anyone of us in any party would think it was OK to cut off an arm to heal a broken finger; let a Czar appointed by our friend Obama decide if and when you can have that arm cut off and then, if we don’t want to participate in the program the Czar controls because we would rather get the finger fixed in the first place, we get to be punished either monetarily and/or criminally all because the wolves  want control

Control over all of us - Democrats, Republicans, Conservatives, Independents - but not those who voted for this garbage in the first place.

I am astounded that anyone would vote for less freedom.  But what the heck this bill does not apply to them. The people we voted in are voting you and me out. We have a slick President.  And from one woman who dresses really bad to another, I say Nancy Pelosi is so absorbed with her own greed she can’t even wear a pants suit that fits properly.  As for Harry? Somebody needs to buy him a GPS so he can find his way to the land of sanity.

Folks, the moment someone comes between you and your doctor, you’ve lost. The Democratic House spouts this health care bill to be a big win for the country just like Medicare was and Social Security and so on and so on.

Some may think I am one slice of bread shy a sandwich but I had a choice as to whether or not I took social security and I had a choice as to whether or not I went on Medicare.

If the folks we elected are exempt from being required to participate in this government-run health care; if the folks we elected do not have to get their arm cut off to save their finger; if the folks we elected do not have to lose their choice and their freedoms as we are about to do, then I say we get up, get out, get moving, get going and get the message that one does not have to be a cow to know what milk is and one can be a politician who actually cares about people and cares about this country and values freedoms.

Be careful. The wolf thinks you’re thirsty. Don’t drink that Kool-aid. Do what the little piggies did. It ain’t over yet.
