To the Editor:
Now that the election is over, it is time to put your money where your mouth is. I was discussing with a gentleman the other day about the amount of drilling going on. He shocked me when he said, “Carroll County could very easily be the richest county in Ohio.”

Why he shocked me is because I immediately thought about the people who vote “no” on school levies because I thought they were so poor they couldn’t afford to pay the levy. Boy was I surprised.

I am a retired teacher who gets less than $2,100 per month to survive, which is actually less because I pay an amount over $300 for my healthcare copay.
