To the Editor:
On Aug. 24 there was a huge show of support from the community where over 200 attendees enjoyed a full and enjoyable evening at Atwood Yacht Club.

Mr. Bob Phipps and Kim Clark of Community Hospice gave short, but informative, inspirational speeches along with a slide presentation pertaining to the children’s bereavement camp. A special DJ from California, Blake Miller, was the master of ceremonies and kept the event fun and entertaining.

All proceeds, which are being tallied, will be turned over to the Community Hospice bereavement program, “Bridge to Healing.”
