To the Editor:
The third annual instrumental fundraiser for the Carrollton High School Marching Band was held Aug. 17 at the Vet’s Club.

I would like to take this time to thank all of the area businesses that helped make this year’s dinner a success. First off, I would like to thank Tim and Amy Dayton of Dayton Excavating for the use of the rotisserie to cook the pork, Don’s Custom Meats for the fresh pork, Jimmy’s Backyard BBQ, Ponderosa, Betty Kaye Bakery and Jack and Jeanette Swinehart for side dishes and desserts.

I would like to say Thank You to Napa Distribution Center, AutoZone, Advanced Auto Parts, Ace Hardware, the Lighthouse Bistro, J-Pa’s Pizza, Brace’s Power Equipment, Carson’s Napa, Al-Bi Winery, Radio Shack and last but not least Fenton Brothers Electric for their donation for the silent auction.

I would like to give a special Thank You to the Band Booster officers, Jen Minor, Todd Aston, Tim Kinney and Bev Newell. I also would like to say Thank You to band students that helped take tickets and helped serve the meal. Thanks to all the Band Directors for handing out and collecting money for the tickets. If I have missed anyone please accept my apologies. Without all the help of these people this would not have been a success.
