To the Editor:
The Perry Twp. Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the community yard sales held Aug. 10, 11 and 12. With over 13 families participating in the locations, it was a great start for something in the future.

The Fire Department also had an ice cream social Aug. 12 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the department with homemade ice cream and cake. We would like to thank everyone who came out and joined us in the celebration.

We would like to thank everyone who either came out to support us or donated something to help us whether it is for the event or anytime during the year with the projects and fundraisers held by the department.
