To the Editor:
With a bad economy and people out of work, it’s a great idea to sell alcohol this year at the fair. Maybe a kid who is thirsty won’t be able to get a soda or slushie because mom and dad might spend the money on some “suds” for themselves.

Of course, who cares about kids or family values if you can make some extra bucks by selling alcohol?

Not to mention, the demolition derby will be more exciting – cars and brain cells being destroyed at the same time!

This will also be beneficial for the under age drinkers. Older friends can buy  the alcohol and the underage kids can drink right on the midway. The sheriff and deputies will probably be a little busier this year.

My last comment, the scariest ride pertaining to the fair could possibly be the ride home after a long day of drinking.

Yep, this looks like a win-win situation for everyone; NOT!
