Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
On behalf of the Dellroy Girls Fastpitch A League (9-12 year olds), I would like to thank those who came and supported all of the Dellroy league’s Ham and Scalloped dinner at the Nazarene Church last Saturday.
The funds raised will hekp the leagues with the cost of field preparation, umpires, supplies, equipment and other miscellaneous costs. I would personally like to thank Ace Hardware, Ashton’s 5&10, Thorne’s Market, Tractor Supply Company and Crossroads Pizza for donations of items for gift baskets for the raffle. I would also like to thank Emergency Medical Transport Inc. and the employees of Rite Aid in Carrollton for donating first aid supplies to the Dellroy A League, Dellroy Nazarene Church, all the individual donations and Dawnett Williams, assistant coach, who is always there to count on.

Most of all, I would like to thank our team sponsor, Coffee Pot Farm, which has not only sponsored our team but (due to circumstances beyond the Dellroy Hot Stove’s control, our league had no equipment) so generously provided our girls with new safety and playing equipment. Games will begin soon and everyone is invited to attend and enjoy a great pastime and a bite from the eat stand.

Linette Nuske
Head Coach
Dellroy A League
