To the Editor:
Recently the Carroll County Park District’s two parks – Carroll Community Park and Bluebird Farm Park – each had construction work completed through a NatureWorks grant and  Metro Parks funding through the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). There were large areas where grass and ground were torn up and their repair was not covered under the grant or the ODOT funding.

I would like to recognize Green Pro (Henderson’s Environmental Services) and Braces’ for volunteering their time, equipment and materials to accomplish a great deal of work in a very short order. They repaired the areas, seeded and put down straw at both parks. Their generous donations are not only a gift to the Park District, but a benefit to our entire community.
