Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
I’m writing this letter in response to the person or persons who found it necessary to rearrange the letters on the advertising board in front of the Carroll County Volunteer Fire Station on North Lisbon (Route 9).  On Sunday morning (2/21/2010), I found the letters on the sign advertising our All You Can Eat Chili Dinner had been changed to spell an offensive word on the north side of the sign.  Please be aware the FD members had nothing to do with this and would never allow such behavior.  Hopefully anyone who may have seen it was not offended and also realized that our members did NOT do this.

Maybe that person(s) should just mind their own and leave others property alone.  That goes for the advertising flyers that have been removed from local businesses for past events.
